20th of March, 2022
4th meeting of the Project was held in Marijampolė, Lithuania on creating a video clip, which was made from all the partners’ schools students.
21st of March
We met our partners at Marijampoles VET center. It has started with ice-breaking activities, a greeting from the director and we had discussed the products and objectives of our meeting. Then we had a tour of the school and the training centers.
After lunch at school, we walked around the centre of Marijampolė with our history teacher, enjoying the views and history of the city.
22nd of March
A trip to Kaunas – European Capital of Culture. An authentic Old Town, beautiful panoramas, the Nemunas River and a well-kept environment. We also had a workshop in Kaunas, where we made and then tasted cepelinas.
23rd of March
The day started with a trip to the Curonian Spit, Lithuania’s seaside. Visit the impressive Sea Museum, the dunes of Nida, the sundial, the authentic streets with ancient resort houses. After returning from the Curonian Spit, we stayed for one night in port city Klaipėda.
24th of March
In the morning, we drove to one of the biggest resort towns – Palanga. We visited the huge Amber Museum, walked along the promenade, had lunch and drove back to Marijampolė, where in the evening we had a group dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with all our partners and students.
25th of March
On the fifth day of the meeting, we went to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and visited Trakai, Trakai Castle, where the certificate ceremony took place. We also had lunch in an authentic Karaim village café, where we tasted a traditional dish – kibinai.
In Vilnius, we visited the Old Town, the University, UNESCO-protected sites, central squares and churches.
26th of March
Saturday all the partners left Lithuania. The following and last meeting will be held in Latvia.
