Bursa Anatolian High School was established in 1970 and is the first of the Anatolian High Schools in our city. It is an institution which has 968 students, 68 teachers and a boarding house on an area of approximately 25 decares and accepts qualified students according to the country-wide exam results

Our school has two cafeterias, two gardens, a canteen, an indoor sports hall, an astro pitch, a music room, a painting room, three laboratories, a library and technology hall, and 29 classrooms.

According to the national exam results, our school receives students with the highest scores in Bursa and university placement success ranges from the first 3 to 15. . Having important achievements in international mathematics Olympics such as being 3rd in the world, school has also been awarded with many degrees in the National Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Math Olympics organized by TUBITAK.

Our school has local, regional, national and international prizes and degrees in sporting areas such as basketball, volleyball, skiing and swimming. In addition to awards from TÜBİTAK, our school got the first prize in Turkey for a project by KALDER (Quality Association).

We organize international trips mainly on language learning and cultural shows and our Folk-dance team of 80 students participates in national and international shows. English, French and German is taught in our school and most of the students are good in languages. Every year, music and dance performances in foreign languages are held in our school.

Within the scope of “Kardeşim olur musun” project, which requires partnership of the
schools, students from different cities participate in one-week exchange programs. For the “Balsev” project, every year, cultural activities are carried out at the school .

We were awarded as the best group to support children with leukemia in 2018.

The school is good at using technological improvements in all situations.The students and teachers have worked on creating new programmes many times. BAL has a dormitory for both girls and boys. So, when they have time, they are free to use the computers to create new things. They have had tournaments in computing
